A homeless man in Killeen was caught stealing copper piping from the ceiling and walls of a vacant building after police received a tip that he had been living there.

Police say 51-year-old Jocelito Cosme-Gonzales took shelter in a vacant business at 5400 E Rancier Avenue in Killeen and stole copper piping for the purpose of selling it. Cosme-Gonzalez is now being charged with burglary of a building and failing to give identity. He served six months in jail last year for burglary of a building.
