Killeen Suspect Tries to Eat Counterfeit Money
A woman was arrested in Killeen Friday after police say she stuffed counterfeit bills down her pants and her throat.
Our news partner KWTX reports that 36-year-old Alicia Renee Sellers was riding in the backseat of a car with no registration or inspection sticker when it was pulled over by police. As an officer approached the car, she noticed Sellers with her hands down her pants and ordered her to remove them, at which point Sellers admitted to having stuffed counterfeit bills down her underwear.
As sellers was being taken to jail to be searched, police noticed her chewing, and she spit out a wad of chewed up paper that turned out to be more fake cash. She's been charged with tampering with evidence.
