UPDATE: Due to predicted inclement weather Saturday, the City of Killeen surplus auction has been canceled. The auction will be rescheduled at a future date.

The City of Killeen is cleaning out its closet, and that means cars, trucks, computers, radios, and tons of other goodies are up for auction later this month.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 22, when the City will host a surplus auction beginning with a public viewing at 8 AM and live auction at 10 AM. The event will take place at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 S. WS Young Drive.

Bidding is only being accepted in person at the live auction, and everything will be sold as-is. You can pay with cash, check, or credit card, but you'll have to be prepared to do so that day.

More information about the auction and a full list of items are available at united-auctioneers.com/auction-calendar.
