Killeen’s Ellison High School Welcomes New Football Coach

The Ellison Eagles welcome Todd Wright as the school's new head football coach!

KWTX reports that Wright takes over the program following the retirement of coach Trent Gregory last year. The new coach comes from Houston's Waltrip High School. Wright led Waltrip to the school's first undefeated season last year along with a trip to the postseason.

Killeen ISD released a press release that included the following statement from Superintendent John Craft, "We are excited to have Coach Wright joining Killeen ISD and Ellison High School. Coach Wright has done an incredible job in Houston and throughout his coaching career, and we are thrilled that he will be an Ellison Eagle.”
