Leaky McFarland and the Lance-Oprah Interview

Well that didn't take long.   "The Person" strikes again.  Telling Secrets to the Associated Press about the Lance Armstrong Oprah Winfrey interview.  Before the interview even had time to get edited, AP made the following statement:

I do believe Lance needs to screen his people better, unless there is a stalker out there with some covert access, or maybe it's  just a Big Fat Liar.  Whatever the case, AP keeps getting scoops.  Yesterday before the interview this is what we learned from the Associated Press.

According to “The Person”,  Lance Armstrong stopped at his Livestrong Foundation Monday, before heading to an interview with Oprah Winfrey.  “The Person” told the AP, Lance apologized  to Livestrong  staff members.

“The Person” spoke on condition of anonymity because the discussion was private.

I do not think “The Person” knows what private means.  It’s kinda like a secret, you don’t tell the Associated Press.   But wait, maybe all this leaking is a calculated move by Lance to slowly spill some of the BEANS.

Well, on to the AP reporting.

Stripped last year of his seven Tour de France titles because of doping charges, Armstrong addressed the staff and said, "I'm sorry." “The Person” said Lance choked up and several employees cried during the session.

I love the way AP keeps calling the tattletale “The Person”, but I digress. 

According to AP, after the meeting, Armstrong, his legal team and close advisers gathered at a downtown Austin hotel for the Oprah Interview.

But Wait, I thought she was going to Lance’s house!  Oh I see, it was a trick to get the media waiting at his house so Lance and Oprah could meet in peace at the Hotel,  Clever Girl!.

AP says despite all the media.  Armstrong still managed to slip away for a run.  He returned by cutting through a neighbor's yard and hopping a fence.

 I wish I was that dedicated.  I woulda just said, “Oh My, look at all those people and cameras, out there…I can’t go running today, somebody could get hurt!!!” Then I woulda had a LoCal homemade strawberry shake and some pistachios!

Now Leaky McFarland tells us Lance told Oprah, that he doped. I don't know about you but I gotta see it for myself.  So Leaky, you have done your job, I promise to watch!
