Grand Avenue Theater in Belton wants you to enjoy dinner and a movie for a great cause.

On Thursday, February 25, the theater will donate 10% of all concession sales to the Belton Police Memorial Project. The theater offers a full service kitchen with menu items including pizzas, hamburger sliders, chicken wings, shrimp, and appetizers and snacks such as mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, waffle fries, and funnel cake fries. There's also a Starbucks, along with traditional snacks such as popcorn and hot dogs.

The Belton Police Memorial Project, spearheaded by Leadership Belton, is working to erect 35-foot diameter memorial in honor of the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers. The memorial, designed by Leo Camdon of Fine Line Design and Build, will consist of two curved concrete walls, one of which will read “City of Belton Police Department”. The United States, Texas, City of Belton, and Belton Police Department flags will fly above the memorial, which will be divided in half by a sidewalk.
