If you plan on going to Waco on Sunday, you might want to take a hard pass on that plan.

KWTX is reporting that tens of thousand of runners and watchers will be in Waco to take part in the Silo District Marathon.

Proceeds will go towards helping Gabriele "Gabe" Grunewald, a runner who's been fighting a rare cancer for nearly a decade.

The numbers are pretty impressive for a marathon. They expect 6,000 runners and around 20,000 visitors. The race is expected to generate nearly $2 million in revenue.

They could make even more if they sell Silo Muffins on the route.
