A 25-year-old man who allegedly posed as a 17-year-old Hurricane Harvey refugee to enroll in two Dallas-area high schools has been charged with indecency with a child.

The Associated Press reports that Sidney Bouvier Gilstrap-Portley also faces a charge of tampering with government records. Police say he enrolled first in Skyline High School, then Hillcrest High School, where he played basketball.

Oh, and he's also accused of dating a 14-year-old while enrolled. Not creepy at all there, champ.

The Dallas Morning News reports that Gilstrap-Portley was outed by a former coach who recognized him at a game.

Apparently, Gilstrap-Portley played ball at North Mesquite High School, and his former coach happened to be at one of his games back in April, where he pointed out how weird it was that a former player who'd graduated years ago was on the Hillcrest team.

I guess I shouldn't leap to any judgements, though. Maybe he was just deep under cover as a P.I. or something?
