Man in Tyler Texas Shows Up for Jury Duty Drunk and Drinking

I’ve had jury duty twice since Texas started picking people via the DMV. It sucks, yes, but I don’t think it’s worth drinking over. Alas, a Tyler man would disagree.

KLTV is reporting that 23-year-old Taylor Huckaby of Tyler reported for jury duty with slurred speech and was unable to stand up on his feet without wobbling. He was also reportedly in possession of a large cup that the deputies determined to be filled with beer.

Who does this guy think he is, Shia Labeouf? Well, with the beard and the blitzed look in the eyes, yes, he could be Shia.

Huckaby was charged with public intoxication and taken to the Smith County Jail on a $260 bond.

Back in January he was charged with public intoxication, and in June was hit with a DWI charge. Houston, we might have a problem.
