Man Pulls Out Gun Trying To Enter Panther Stadium

Police officers in Waco have detained a man who is said to have pulled a gun from his waistband during a football game at Panther Stadium at Midway High School on Thursday. No one was hurt.

KWTX is reporting that an email was sent to parents from the school explaining the situation. The email said the man at the stadium never actually entered the seating area thanks to the quick actions of police officers. Nobody knows the reason the man pulled out the weapon.

No guns are allowed on school property during school activities according to Texas law. Police officers from Hewitt removed the man from the scene.

Panther Stadium at Midway High School was just selected last month as the host stadium for the 2016 State Football Championships.
