McDonald's has recalled Step-iT activity wristbands that were recently distributed with Happy Meals amid concerns about possible skin irritation and burns.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the motion-activated bands, which are meant to track a child's steps or other movement, were distributed from August 9 to August 17, 2016.

On their website, the CPSC claims to have received more than 70 reports of incidents, including seven reports of blistering, linked to wearing the wristbands.

The agency recommends returning the bands to any McDonald's restaurant for a free replacement toy and either a serving of yogurt or bag of apple slices.

Anyone with questions about the recalled bands or how to return them can call McDonald's consumer contact line at 1-800-244-6227 from 7 AM to 7PM Central Standard Time.
