Missouri Man Posted Craigslist Ad Seeking Someone to Rape His Daughter

32-year-old Anthony Brinkman of Cuba, Missouri was arrested last week after posting an ad on Craigslist seeking people interested in beating and raping his 11-year-old daughter.

Brinkman’s ad caught the eye of authorities after it was flagged as “abusive” by another Craigslist user. An undercover police officer with the St. Louis County Police Department made contact with Brinkman, and that’s when things got truly disgusting.

Brinkman arranged to meet the officer at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. The plan was to strike up a romantic relationship with a woman who would help him sexually abuse his daughter, then aid Brinkman in finding a boyfriend for the girl. When Brinkman arrived at the restaurant with the girl, officers were waiting to arrest him on charges of attempted statutory sodomy. His daughter was taken into protective custody until relatives could pick her up.

"It’s just a lot of talk for most of these guys, but this guy actually brought (the girl) to the scene to go ahead with the next step of enacting it," St. Louis County Detective Mike Slaughter told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Investigators say they don’t believe the girl has been sexually abused in the past, but Brinkman did upload pictures of the girl and authorities are analyzing his computer in order to determine if he is in possession of child pornography. He has admitted to posting the ad.

Prosecutors plan to charge Brinkman with sex trafficking of a minor before a grand jury.
