Moody Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child

If you thought the killing of kids in Florida was bad Wednesday, it got a little worse a little closer to home.

KWTX is reporting that McLennan County deputies arrest a man from Moody in a sexual assault of a child case involving, wait for it...a 6-year-old.

Chief Roger Kennedy said that the investigation started after the victim made an outcry while in Wyoming visiting relatives.

Larry Joe Goodwin was arrested after a traffic stop near Belton. He was in the Bell County Jail Wednesday afternoon after being charged with indecency with a child/sexual contact, aggravated sexual assault of a child, and child abandonment/endangerment with intent to return.
