Prayers of hope are needed after a morning house fire in Killeen.

KWTX is reporting that Killeen firefighters were called to a house fire on Jason Cove and Anna Lee Drive in the early morning hours of Friday. By the time they arrived flames were shooting out of the roof of the house.

Five engines were on the scene. A next door neighbor said that six people were living in the home, three adults, three children.

The mother jumped out of a window and ran next door. The neighbor, Mechelle Snider, told KWTX that the woman was covered in blood and asking for help to rescue her children. Mechelle ran to the back of the burning house, where the kid's were sleeping, to mount a rescue, but was unsuccessful.

As of this morning (Friday) no deaths have been confirmed by authorities.
