Law enforcement officers from several different agencies worked together to seize a large amount of methamphetamine in Bell County, resulting in the arrest of five people.

Stephanie Renee Steen, Christopher Alvarez and Pablo Vasquez, all Dallas residents, are being held in the Bell County Jail on unspecified charges and without bond. Jamie Sanchez and Gonzalo Baldovinos are both being held without bond in the McLennan County Jail without bond. Both are charged with possession of a controlled substance and are on immigration detainer.

The bust came after the conclusion of an investigation into the distribution of copious amounts of crystal methamphetamine throughout the Bell county area. Authorities seized around 3.9 pounds of crystal meth with an estimated street value of $140,000, along with $14,000 in cash and three firearms.

Investigators with Bell County’s Organized Crime Unit worked with officers from Temple, Killeen, Woodway and Lorena, deputies from McLennan County, U.S. Marshalls and agents from the Department of Public Safety.
