NFL’s Adrian Peterson Sends $100K To Flood Victims In Texas Home Town

Adrian Peterson's hometown of Palestine, Texas is getting a $100,000 donation.

The NFL superstar sent the donation to provide disaster relief to the area after 7 inches of rain fell in just one hour last Friday. Peterson has pledged to match any donations made to Palestine via the Salvation Army Disaster Relief Fund. The money will go to families effected in Smith and Wood Counties in North East Texas. A former High School teammate and classmate of Peterson's was among two adults and four children who died in the floods.
