I once sat and watched "Sharknado". That was an hour and a half of my life I can never get back.

Sorry if you're a "Sharknado" fan. I swear I thought it was supposed to be a comedy.

When I saw friends on my timeline sharing fake news, I started to laugh thinking they knew for sure it was a joke, up until I saw other people chime in with their concerns. A fake headline read "Florence Now Contains Sharks".

This viral photo has sent several people into a panic. I don't know if sharks get super powers if they're inside a hurricane, but I can reassure you that there aren't any sharknados heading to the Carolina's.

Fake news is a serious issue on our socials. Many of us have fallen victim to sharing news that turned out to be fake or liked a fake news story. Just in case you didn't know, there is a website called Break Your Own News where you put in a headline, a ticker, and your own photo.
