At some point, everyone learns the hard way that following your GPS can land you in a mess. For one truck driver passing through Nolanville, today was that day.

According to our news partner KWTX-TV, a truck hauling armored vehicles to Fort Hood wound up "high-centered" at a railroad crossing on 5th Street in Nolvanville Thursday morning.

The driver told authorities he was following his GPS, and when he tried to drive across the tracks, the grade proved too steep and he became stranded.

Police responded around 9 AM, and a tow truck was able to remove the vehicle about an hour later.

No injuries were reported.
