The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for Bell County from 3am to 9am Sunday. Most of Central and North Texas will experience overnight low temperatures near the freezing mark.

Remember to protect your plants and pets from the cold. A Freeze Warning means that we are about to see the first sub-freezing temperatures of the season in Bell County. Protect vegetation sensitive to the cold, and be sure to remember to shut off any lawn sprinklers you may have so surrounding sidewalks and driveways don't become iced over.

The best potential for sub-freezing temperatures according to the National Weather Service is going to be along the Interstate 10 Corridor in Northwest Hill Country. Bell County residents should expect overnight low's between 30 and 32 degrees.
