Officer Involved Shooting Near Waco Elementary School

A shooting has been reported near a Waco ISD elementary school this morning.

Beverly Hills Police say one suspect is dead and the officer involved in the shooting is ok.

Waco ISD elected not to lock down Kendrick Elementary which is nearby the scene of the shooting at Speight Avenue and Columbia Street. KWTX reports this is the third shooting near Kendrick Elementary in the last week.
