Our Donation Drive for the Oklahoma Tornado Victims was a Huge Success
US 105 had a Feel-Good time at Schoepf’s BBQ in Belton Thursday. We set up across the street with a big old ASCO Truck and collected items for the Oklahoma folks who were hit by the tornadoes earlier this week.
We have some very generous listeners. Companies like Jack Hilliard Distributing Company bought cases and cases of bottled water.
Individual donations were a plenty too, Savannah and her Mom posed for a picture after dropping off all kinds of goodies.
Thank you very much to Ronnie and the good folks at Schoepf’s, the folks at Wild Country in Harker Heights, Wilson Art and ASCO, and the generous US 105 listeners!
We got everything we asked for bottled water, diapers, work gloves, sunscreen, baby food, a couple of Barbies, footballs and soccer balls too.
We will get it all up to Oklahoma. Thanks to everybody who came out and made this donation drive a Huge Success!
