Christina and Mark Rotondo have tried just about everything to get their 30-year-old child, Michael Rotondo, to move out. They have gone as far as giving him written notices to pack up and go. Unfortunately for the couple, their son refuses to help out around the house and pay rent. Michael's parents have even tried to coax him to move out with offering him money to help get him started on his own.

The unhappy couple filed court documents hoping to have their case heard by the Supreme Court of New York State. Unfortunately for the couple, since Michael is a family member, the unlucky parents will have to go to court and have a hearing. Michael Rotondo has filed court documents as well and claims his parents are retaliating on him. He goes on to say that he “has never been expected to contribute to household expenses, or assisted with chores and the maintenance of the premises, or assisted with chores and the maintenance of the premises".

There is a hearing set for May 22, 2018, and hopefully, the couple will have some answers and can finally be happy. What are your thoughts? Parents, would you be okay with your child living with you for so long and not pay rent? Tell us in the comments below.
