KWTX is reporting that Payless is closing all its stores in America and Puerto Rico.

That's  2,100 more brick and mortar stores going away thanks to the internet. The world steps a little closer to people never leaving their homes.

"I can't go outside! I might miss an episode of "This is Us." Those poor people. It's like real life if I had one that is. As long as I stay inside I won't get hurt. Time to order lunch."

The closeout sale begins Sunday, February 17 at all the stores, including those in Central Texas. There's the two in Waco at 5201 Bosque Blvd. and in the Central Texas Marketplace. Plus two in Temple. One in the Temple Mall and the other at the Market Place Shopping Center at 3052 South 31st St. There's also one in Killeen in the Expressway Plaza.

The stores are expected to remain open until at least the end of March and the majority will remain open until May.
