Phone Scammers Using Central Texas College

Don't pick-up the phone.

CTC has released a press release stating that there's a possible phone scam happening to the folks of Central Texas.

Central Texas College says the scammers tell the caller that they are members of the CTC campus police department and are asking for donations.

CTC wants you to know that their campus police are not conducting any fundraisers and are not soliciting for donations of any kind. You are advised to ignore such requests and not divulge any confidential information, I.E. credit card info, bank account info, or other personal information.
