Always good company at The Pit Stop Bar in Nolanville. This weekend's "Vet's for Vet's" fundraiser benefited the Fort Hood USO, as well as the Veterans Memorial at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

This annual event has raised some very helpful proceeds over the last 5 years for organizations like the Veterans Home in Temple, Fisher House on Fort Hood, and Operation Phantom Support. The Pit Stop's owner James Kincaid said that last years event raised almost $9000.

Thanks to all the event sponsors including Texas Barbecue and Steakhouse, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the United Club of Waco, and Black Moon Tattoos.

A special presentation of 17 pins to survivors took place as an observance to the 50-year anniversary of the Vietnam War.
