Killeen police are searching for a suspect in an attempted shooting at detailing shop Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to A Personal Touch Detailing, 1317 E Veterans Memorial Blvd, just before 4:30 PM.

Witnesses said a black male driving a gold Ford Crown Victoria with a black female in the passenger seat entered the shop and asked for a specific employee. When he was told the employee wasn't there, the man became upset, returned to his car, then fired at the shop with a handgun before speeding away.

No injuries were reported.

A short time later, police located a car matching the description of the Crown Victoria with two people inside, but soon determined the car and occupants were not involved in the shooting.

At approximately 6 PM, police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1800 block of Cedarhill Drive. Witnesses said a man in a gold Crown Victoria shot at an apartment and a vehicle before speeding away.

Once again, no injuries were reported.

According to a statement issued Tuesday by the Killeen Police Department, detectives believe the same man is responsible for both shooting incidents, but do not believe the shootings are related to other recent shootings in the city.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about either incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477), www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com, or via the P3tips app.  All information is anonymous and confidential, and information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
