Mart ISD is seeking a replacement for Principal Lou Ann Wolf, who recently resigned after spending five weeks on paid administrative leave while the district investigated allegations that answer documents for the TAKS standardized test had been changed.
Mart’s investigation was one of 70 other investigations into testing irregularities in Texas.
Mart ISD Superintendent Todd Gooden released a statement indicating that the investigation had been concluded, and the results had been sent to the Texas Education Agency. Gooden stated that there was no indication that action would be taken against Wolf.
After working for the district for five years, Wolf offered her resignation in the interest of closing the matter. Her resignation is effective June 30.
