Register Now for Killeen Citizens Academy

The City of Killeen has spots remaining in its second Killeen Citizens Academy.

The Fall 2015 course is a 9-week session scheduled September 2 through October 28. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at various city locations.

Each class will detail a different department, function or program of city government. Participants will interact with elected officials and city staff and get an inside look at city operations.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, but anyone running for political office is ineligible. Residents of Killeen and Fort Hood will be given priority enrollment.

Applications and detailed information are available online at www.killeentexas.gov. Participants must complete and submit an application by August 7. There is no cost to apply or participate.
