A bus driver for Rosebud-Lott ISD was arrested Monday after a student raised concerns about his driving.

The school bus was stopped on Main Street in Rosebud around 7:10 a.m. after a concerned student texted his mother about the driver’s erratic behavior on the road. The student’s mother notified police who administered a breathalyzer test at the scene. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

The driver was taken into custody to undergo a blood test at the Falls County Jail. His name has not been released pending formal charges. Another driver was brought in to finish the bus’ rounds. There were around 50 students on the bus. No injuries have been reported.
