Earlier this month we published a story about Salado High School student Ryan White, who suffered a brain injury after falling from a moving vehicle. Ryan remains in intensive care, and the Salado High Student Council has been raising money, mostly people's spare change, to help Ryan's family with the financial strain.

The Salado High School student council has been hard at work in recent weeks to raise money for the family of Ryan White. Ryan's mom has been updating his status on her facebook and over the weekend she posted that Ryan will have surgery to replace his skull flap according to KWTX. She said, "We are continuing to just stand on faith and know that God is the ultimate healer."

Meanwhile, his classmates are doing all they can to help. White's classmates say they miss him at school and are doing all they can to help and will continue to collect funds through November 2nd.
