This Saturday marks the 56th annual Killeen Christmas Parade!
The fun starts downtown on December 8th at 4:30 p.m and is free and open to the public. The co-grand marshals will be BG Miles Brown, 1st Cavalry Division Deputy Commanding General Support and 2018 Roj J. Smith Award winner Charlie Watts.
This year's theme will be "A Texas Christmas" as dozens of floats, vehicles, and performers will entertain the crowd. The Parade route travels along Avenue D beginning at College Street then left on Sprott Avenue and left on 2nd Street.
You'll find food and craft vendors available during the activities. You will definitely want to arrive early to secure the best parking and to lock down your spot along the parade route.
Saturday's forecast is calling for rain in the morning, with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Afternoon highs will be near 50.
