Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Bell County

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bell County until 10:15pm. Central Texas remains under a Tornado Watch until 10pm. A Flood advisory has also been issued until 12:30am.

Doppler Radar indicated a Severe Thunderstorm over Harker Heights at 9:15pm moving at 35mph. This storm is producing 60mph winds and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected.

This storm will be near Belton by 9:25pm, Morgan's Point by 9:30pm, Temple by 9:35, and Troy by 9:50pm. Follow the KWTX Doppler Ten Radar here. Stay Weather aware this evening. Drive safely, and do not attempt to drive on water covered roadways.
