Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 5am for Central Texas

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Central Texas until 5am Wednesday. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is issued when severe thunderstorms are possible in and near the watch area. It does not mean they will occur, just that they are possible.

Strong to Severe Thunderstorms will persist overnight across Central Texas with the primary threat coming from straight line winds. One Inch Hail, and even an isolated Tornado may still be possible overnight. Once these storms pass through Bell Country and Central Texas, storm chances will be over for the evening. Our next chance for storms returns to the area Thursday.
