Stoplights Removed Over Belton Dam as FM 2271 Work Nears Completion

Ready for some great news about road construction? The road work over Belton Dam is nearly complete!

After 90 days of road work the project is looking pretty good over the dam along FM 2271. The stoplights controlling the flow of traffic over the dam have been removed, along with the majority of the road work equipment.

While the observation deck is still blocked off, the guard rail along the dam has been replaced with a new one including new reflectors to help guide traffic at night.
