Swift Irked Her Neighbors With Renovations

Hard to believe it but some folks in Rhode Island are mad at country’s princess, saying she’s ruining their coastline. 

Some of Swift’s neighbors near her Rhode Island beach front property are concerned that a major facelift to the seawall and the moving of beachside boulders near her home would alter the coastline.

A representative for the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council told The Providence Journal that the construction that Swift had ordered in front of her ocean-side mansion was by the request of the state. They also insisted that any ill will towards Swift's renovations is unfounded, particularly in regards to the large boulders Swift is moving closer to her home. Original plans called for leaving the boulders in the water, but the state requested they be moved as close to the seaward side of that concrete wall as possible.
