Southbound I-35 traffic was backed up for miles Friday afternoon after a truck hauling empty trailers lost its load.

Earlier this week, TxDOT advised that north and southbound lanes of I-35 in Temple would be closed overnight next week. They have postponed those closures.

If you plan to travel north along I-35 through Temple Saturday night, don't. Northbound lanes and Exit 301 will close, and frontage road traffic will be slow.
