As the Temple City Council begins its search for a City Manger to replace the recently retired Jonathan Graham, it plans to appoint an interim manager to keep things moving.

On April 6, the Council will meet to consider Brynn Myers for the job. According to a news release from City Spokesperson Shannon Gowan, Myers has 13 years of city government experience. She served as Budget Manager for the City of Huntsville before becoming Assistant to the City Manager in 2008. She then became Director of Administrative Services before being appointed Assistant City Manger in 2014.

According to Gowan, the City Council will consider authorizing an agreement with an executive search firm at its April 20 meeting.

We wish Mrs. Myers the sincerest congratulations and the best of luck!
