Temple High School on Soft Lockdown Due to Suspicious Package

A source within Temple High School tells us the campus was on soft lockdown late Wednesday morning after a suspicious bag was found.

KTEM producer Eric Coley is a substitute teacher for TISD, and has a younger brother who attends Temple High. The younger Coley tells Eric the school was initially on hard lockdown, but the lockdown status was later downgraded.

Our news partner, KWTX, reports that police had the package contained as of 10:40 AM.
