Temple police have arrested two men suspected of committing a string of burglaries at several Ulta stores between Dallas and San Antonio.

Officers responded to an alarm at the Ulta location at 2112 S.W. HK Dodgen Loop shortly before 12:30 am Friday. There, they saw that the front window of the business had been destroyed and saw a gold minivan speeding out of the parking lot. Police gave chase until the van lost control and crashed into the concrete base of a street light. The two suspects left the vehicle and attempted to flee, but were quickly apprehended.

36-year-old Loy Hicks of Garland and 20-year-old Zachary Louissant of Georgia have been charged with burglary of a building and interfering with the duties of a police officer. Detectives have reason to believe the two were involved in the burglary of the same building in March, July and earlier in October of this year, as well as several other Ulta stores along I-35.
