Temple Police Seize Card Skimmers from Local Gas Pumps

Temple PD have recently seized and removed several card skimmers at the following gas stations in town. KWTX along with the police report the card skimmers were found at the Exxon located at 3002 Thornton Lane, and at the Food Mart at 307 N. General Bruce Drive. 

While no one has reported any suspicious activity so far, police want residents to know the skimmers are designed to steal your debit card information and pin number. If you see one that seems suspect you pull on the card reader at the pump to check if it has been tampered with. It is also suggested you keep an eye out for small hidden cameras that may have been attached to the pump if you think something is wrong.

If a card reader doesn't look right to you, do not use it. Pay inside and avoid the pump altogether.
