Temple Project Started in 2016 Along Loop 363 Completed

Good news! Here is a roadwork project that is coming to an end!

The Texas Department of Transportation is gonna open new eastbound and westbound lanes on South Loop 363 this week! They will also fire up the traffic signals at the completed intersection of South Loop 363 and Spur 290 (1st Street) in Temple. It will all happen on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

This project began not long after I moved to Temple. It's nice to see one get finished. They began work in the fall of 2016. This week, motorists will get to see what a $13.2 million dollar project looks like when it is finished.

For the next couple of weeks please be cautious when approaching this intersection. There are new traffic control devices and other changes that you may not be used to.
