John Erickson, author of the children's book series Hank the Cowdog, has begun hosting virtual readings on his Youtube page.

According to the official Hank the Cowdog site, Mr. Erickson would host concerts at schools and public libraries. Now that the majority of the country is sheltering in place due to the pandemic of COVID-19, Erickson has found a new way to continue bringing his books to life.

Erickson has begun hosting virtual readings on his Youtube page, where he will read and perform a short excerpt from one of his books. For the first reading, Erickson read an excerpt called, "The Boxer" from the series' first book. Erickson recorded his first reading on his ranch in Roberts county, and real cowdogs can even be seen roaming in the fields.

If you're looking to pass the time with your little one, or even just want to reminisce about old times, I highly recommend checking out these readings.
