According to a report and study of over 21,000 schools done by U.S. News and World Report, Texas landed 3 high schools in its Top 10 list.

For the 5th year in a row, The School For The Talented and Gifted was at the top of the list while another Dallas school the School of Science and Engineering Magnet finished in fourth.

Houston's Carnegie Vanguard High School placed 10th in the study that collected data including graduation rates, student-teacher ratio, college readiness, and performance on state assessments.
