Cancer is sadly a part of everyday life. We all know someone who is either fighting cancer, or lost someone to the disease. According to Texas Health and Human Services, individuals diagnosed with the disease in the state was 139,100, in 2023.

Texas Health and Human Services also reports that the most common cancers in the Lone State Star are lung, breast, and prostate cancers. There are many ways one could prevent certain cancers, and the CDC has that data here.
