Check out the amazing video of an unidentified Walden, Texas man who jumped in the water to assist a drowning deer.

Chron.com reports a video was uploaded to social media by the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable's Office. The water in the video is said to be Lake Conroe.

Conroe is a lake wrapped in bulkhead which makes it more difficult for animals to get in and out of the water. Such was the case for the deer who clearly needed a little help getting out. Once it was back on dry land the deer seemed to be tired from the swim but eventually walked off in good condition.

In the video, the person helping the deer can be seen using a flotation device to support himself and the animal while swimming. They guide the animal over some steps that go down into the water and simply walk the deer up the steps and back onto dry land.
