Texas Radio Employee Killed in Station Parking Lot

One person has been arrested after police found a Kerrville radio station employee dead in the parking lot of the radio station where she worked.

Kerr County Sherriff Rusty Heirholzer said the woman was found early Wednesday morning outside her place of employment, and that the killing seemed to be completely random. The 52-year-old victim was later identified as Shelly Ruth Francis.

Police say about an hour after the murder, a man was found walking along the highway and stopped for questioning. That man soon confessed to the crime.
