Texas Woman Comes Face to Face with Snake Hiding in Truck Door Liner
Teresa Dalby of Hughes Springs opened the door of her pickup truck Monday and came face-to-face with a snake hiding in the lining of the door.
It turned out to be a mostly harmless rat snake (not rattlesnake, thank goodness!), but who wouldn't be freaked out? She called the local Sheriff to come get the snake since her husband was out of town.
Dalby told KLTV that about her husband being away and said, "Well he couldn't come so I called some other friends and they didn't want to come." Teresa reached out to the Morris County Sheriff who sent a brave deputy over to remove the snake.
We're glad you weren't eaten alive, Teresa! We like to think we're brave people here, but honestly, we'd probably freak out if it happened to us.
