The Belton 9/11 Walk To Honor Fallen Heroes is This Sunday

The City of Belton's 9/11 Memorial Walk "Honoring Our Fallen Heroes" will take place on Sunday beginning at 7 pm on the campus of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Join the community in remembering the heroes of 9/11 beginning at the Parker Academic center parking lot, and ending at the Bell County Courthouse. The walk will be followed by a candlelight vigil and a ceremony with TAPS.

For more information on the walk or the candlelight vigil, contact Nichole Stairs at 254-939-3551. The event is sponsored by Belton Area Military Spouses Support and the Belton Area Chamber of commerce. The memorial event is scheduled from 7p to 8:30 Sunday evening.

Also in Belton this weekend is the 16th annual Temple-Belton Back to School Prayer at First Baptist Church. The Prayer takes place from 3 pm to 4 pm. The Church is located at 506 N. Main in Belton.
