Fans of John Green's novel 'The Fault in Our Stars' have been eagerly awaiting the movie adaptation of the 2012 best-seller -- but many aren't happy with the first glimpse they're getting of it.

The newly released movie poster for the romantic drama, starring Shailene Woodley ('The Secret Life of the American Teenager') and Ansel Elgort ('Carrie'), is being criticized for a tagline that many are calling "glib" and "offensive."

The poster shows Woodley and Elgort (who both also star in the upcoming 'Divergent,' BTW) lying down, cuddling and smiling. It's not an unusual image of two lovers -- except that Woodley is wearing her character Hazel Grace Lancaster's omnipresent breathing tube. That's right: The story is about two teens with cancer who fall in love. The movie's tagline? "One Sick Love Story."

The book's author, for one, has no problem with the way the film is being promoted, even though he had no say in it. "I like the tag line because it says, literally, the sick can also have love stories. Love and joy and romance are not just things reserved for the well," Green writes on his Tumblr. "That said, I might be wrong. I'm wrong all the time."
