The semi-confession has been made.  Oprah asked a lot of the questions we had.  The one question lingering is this:  How did Matthew McConaughey take the news?  While doing pressers for his upcoming film, "Mud", we finally began to unravel the status of this bromance for the ages.

McConaughey told Access Hollywood's Tim Vincent that he has indeed spoken with Lance since the Big O interview.  The good news is that Armstrong is doing well and is good spirits.  Thank the Lord!!  I can finally sleep peacefully again knowing he's doing alright.

MTV got a response one might consider a bit more real and less rehearsed when MTV News got hold of him Saturday with McConaughey saying, "My first reaction was I was pissed off.  I was mad." Uh oh, bromance in trouble?  Sadly, no.  McConaughey continued, "I then got kind of sad for him.  First off, I had a part of me that took it personally, which I think a lot of people have."

McConaughey then showed his humanitarian side, confessing, "What was he supposed to do?  Call me to the side and go, 'Hey man, I did it but don't tell anybody.' Then I would have really had a reason to be pissed off at him, going, 'You want me to walk around holding this'?".

That's right, as long as Mr. McConaughey is A-OK in mind, body and spirit, and he wasn't forced to walk around with guilt hiding underneath those six-pack abs, all is well with the world.  Let us now continue with our day, with the comfort that comes from the  knowledge that the bromance between these two is alive and well.

BTW, anybody else out there think McConaughey gets those abs and that body without the help of HGH and other performance enhancers?  Just asking.  I just hope they didn't share a needle.
